To mark its 175th anniversary Patek Philippe released a collection of limited edition watches, comprised of four models, one grand complication, chronographs worldtimes and an hour striker with jumping hour. Made available to their best customers only.

The 5975J-001 Multi-Scale Chronograph, has a new 40mm case in yellow gold, on the dial we can see the graduations of the multi-scale chronograph that was popular during the 1940s

• a Pulsometer scale calibrated to 15 pulsations, allowing physicans to calculate a patient’s pulse in less than a minute
• a Telemeter scale, which is used to calculate distance based on the difference between the speed of light and the speed of sound
• a Tachymeter, used for measuring speed over known distance, yes you understood the last two functions were used for fighter pilots back in the days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The movement is automatic but not visible, the solid case back is engraved with « Patek Philippe Geneve 175e Anniversary 1839-2014 » inscription. A shinny brown strap is coupled with an engraved Calatrava Cross clasp. This timepiece is a limited edition of 400 pieces only.
